Four members of the triumphant Pakistan side have been named in the ICC World Twenty20 team of the tournament.

Retiring Twenty20 captain Younus Khan, all-rounder Shahid Afridi, wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal and fast bowler Umar Gul have all been included along with a mix of players from runners-up Sri Lanka and the two losing semi-finalists South Africa and West Indies.

Player of the tournament Tillakaratne Dilshan of Sri Lanka is joined at the top of the order by Windies captain Chris Gayle, with Proteas Jacques Kallis and AB de Villiers next up.

West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo, teenage South Africa paceman Wayne Parnell and Sri Lanka spinner Ajantha Mendis complete the line-up, with Sri Lanka's Lasith Malinga the 12th man.

The women's team includes five victorious England players - captain Charlotte Edwards, player of the tournament Claire Taylor, wicketkeeper Sarah Taylor and spin duo Laura Marsh and Holly Colvin.
